lost somewhere in the upstate ny area. an engine cover sticker, placard, or whatever it izs called. specifically, from a freedom engine, the thing that says six speed on the cam side of the engine, down at the ctr of the vee. funny thing...there are two screw holes in the casing, but looks like these things are glued on? anyone else ever lost one? it does seem to appear as a part number on fiche either. i mean literally stamped thing that shouts six speed on the side of the motor. strange.

The most difficult part is getting the old cheap one off to put on a nice chrome on.

+1, that 6disc was a pain to remove. Did you previously spill any petroleum products on it that may have weakened the glue (gas)? Or was your motor hot? I would give you mine but it's kinda bent from removal. I also went with the Ness cover. Came with a 3M sticky pad, key word sticky, you got 1 shot to get it right. There are some after market covers that utilize those 2 screw holes instead of a sticky pad.
