Just installed a Quarter Turn Throttle Ring on my Vision tonight. The Ring made a real difference in that it "woke the bike up." Throttle response is immediate. It you are interested, I suggest that you watch the Witchdoctors vid on installation.

I purchased the Quarter Turn Throttle Ring for my Vision, my question to you did you have to loosen the throttle cables at the throttle body to have the slack at the throttle to install, if you did how did you get a wrench on the nuts, very crowded in that area on my bike, I gave up on the install.
    Ride safe!

I had the PCV timing wheel and air fitler from Lloyds , plus the Freedom Performance true dual exhaust. Recently I installed the 1/4 throttle and the Lloyds VM1-DR cams as well.In my opinion, the1/4 turn throttle ringand the Lloyds camsare agreat combination!

I'm not on a Vision but on my XC I waited till I had the tank off for an air filter. When I looked at the tight space with the tank on, all I saw was frustration for me and my big paws.

Installed the 1/4 T ring on my XC last week. Once you turn the throttle tension nuts a 1/4 to 1/2 turn you can loosen them by hand. I also suggest snipping the nylon ties that hold the cables to the frame, this allows for more play in the cables to slide the throttle sleeve off the bars. It's a simple reinstall of new ties to put the cables back in place.

    VISION, BABY!

How much did you pay for shipping on that? I went to buy one today, and they wanted $11 to ship it!! Not happening. I thought the charges were ridiculous. Did you do any better?

Yea shipping is steep if that's all you get. I just bought more stuff so it bundled the shipping.

I had to grind and grind the inside of my starter/hazard switch housing for the two halves to close, but after all said and done, mighty impressed by the difference.
Yes, I had to lift the tank and loosen the nuts. Not too bad, but still a PITA.

Same deal here. That's the same B.S. that many vendors use to make the price look good but all in all, that ring is the best mod you can do for under $50.

I have a 2013 hammer, was it hard getting the throttle housing back in place? I really would hate to have to grind the housing.

Any suggestions on how to get the throttle cable nuts lose? Should I just remove the two bolts from the front of the gas tank to create some space in there? I have everything else set up but can't seem to get the throttle cable back in the slot on the throttle assembly to fit over the ring.

Not sure what you are getting at. Will it not fit into the housing? Sometimes you have to grind away part of the housing for it to fit. Also are you sure you have the correct ring for your grips?

Loosening the throttle cables at the throttle body was a "pain" but the end result was worth it. It took a little longer than expected and my wife helped me (a litle) to reinstall the cables at the handle bar. Two hands were better than one! And YES you must loosen the cables at the throttle body to get enough cable "slack" to properly install the 1/4 turn ring as the ring took upALL of the cable slack. I then adjusted the cable at my handlebar to get it to rotate properly. It took about 1 hour+ for the complete install on a Vision.

Yes, grip has to come off the end of the handlebar like shown in the video.
