Well, it may be that now, that it's too late, some in the biking community may be waking up to just what an excellent bike the Victory is.
Or, maybe my experiences of late are isolated. You tell me.
I've been riding my Vic on a regular basis to work (until last week, when I was laid off) the grocery store, and other odd places at various times. And it seems that for the past few months, every time I go out, someone stops me (even at stop lights) and says something like....Is that a Victory? That's a great looking bike. Man, I'd love to have one. What's it like?

It makes me sad (not really) to have to tell them that they missed a great opportunity, and NO, they can't have mine because I'm keeping it. Yes, it's that good! But, I do get a lot of comments. Then there's the "I sure thought about getting one".

I tell some of them to go find one on the used market and ride it if they can. Times running out....tic...toc.

So, is it just happening in my little corner of the world, or any of the rest of you having similar experiences?

Just this week I was fueling up and a twentysomething came out of the store and said "that's a great looking bike " I said thank you and thought, yes it is.

I wouldn't say it's anymore than a year ago, I ride almost every day for over 10 months out if the year and I get the occasional "nice bike" or "what is that?!", but not more than usual.

So nice to see a post from @MagVic CCT !!!!! Sorry to hear about the layoff but hope you are doing well otherwise.
I get more comments than I want when I am on the Vision 8 ball. Not so much Victory appreciation, more like "what is that?" or nice bike etc. Always kind of surprised me that I get so many more comments about that one than the BBC. In my opinion the BBC is a much better looking bike but the rolling barca lounger has it's perks...............

I haven't seen much on my rides but I have noticed here we've had a good number of new Vic owners pop up... Especially on Visions.

When I went to the brewery rally and show last Saturday, I couldn’t get away from my Ness Vision after I parked. In a sea of look a like Harleys it got a lot of attention. If I charged a buck a picture I could have gone out for a nice dinner that night. BTW the best of show bike was a beautiful pan head chopper that truly deserved the win. The paint and craftsmanship on that bike was stunning. I did not get there early enough to enter the show nor did I want to.

Great to hear your keyboard. Thanks. Nice little vacation from the lunacy of the world. Counting down the months now. I'm getting a taste of the good life right now. As soon as my "welfare" checks start coming in, I may plan a trip. It's been only a week and already I've gotten more done around the house than the past two years. Guy next door is retired. We started making plans for all the trouble we can get into. Mine's not official for about 17 months. Great to hear from you @BrotherWind Hope all is well where you are.

Neighbor across the street, new squatter/boyfriend, came over introduced himself to borrow a pair of jumper cables. When he returned them I get his life story in 5, as if I asked for it, NOT.

He adds that he had a Suzzy or Yammy? Then asks, "are they all Harleys?" In front of my opened garage...

Maybe his thoughts are having to swim upstream against a river of pharmaceuticals.

Never trust a man that doesn't have jumper cables.

I can see how that could happen. You are in Kansas. There are , what?, 200 people in the state?

Don't worry, I do this to everyone. Welcome.

He seams to be pretty handy/productive around the house. I doubt he's chemically challenged?
