I hear putting coins in the spring makes install easier, silly question, which coins work best, every coil? I only want to try this once, lol

I just did this, replaced the pad. The dime trick would have made it easier for me. I didn't remove the floorboard or shift linkage. I used a long T handle allen wrench and could tap on it while wiggling the kickstand to get it to go through the holes.

16 dimes, removal of kickstand, flat tip screw driver and job done! Pretty smooth
