Just my observation but....I believe it’s actions like those that the younger generation is seeing that changes a humans physic ( esp when is seen over n over n over n over ) making it become “normal behavior” and is changing what we portray as acceptable behavior and or lowering the bar of our expectations from one another within our society. Hopefully the generations that follow ( 2-3 away ) will revert and be more like us and say WHEN, that’s enough and those actions can not and will not be tolerated. Not sure if is age / wisdom catching up or all the Holiday Inns we’ve been staying in but that’s my $0.06 was .02 but inflation and all

Not a age deal. I can't stand folks my own age for the most part. The ones younger are just getting worse.

$0.06 you say?... Let's Go Brandon.

i believe it will get better when dads start stayin at home and do what a dad should do which is be the man of the house and raise his progeny in a proper way. with some discipline and structure. maybe a little bit of the ten commandments thrown in for good measure.

I read quite a detailed report over 15 years ago, which I can't find a record of, that laid most of the blame directly on the educational system. Reasons were two-fold.

    1. The majority of teachers at most levels, especially in post-secondary schools, have never been out of school. They don't have "real world" experiences to draw from and have for the most part spent all of their lives being told what to do and how to do it by people with exactly the same background as the teachers. As with most public servant jobs being at the tax trough takes away a lot of the job security risk which present other factors around complacency but that wasn't a major item in the article.
    2. According to the article, the most telling and justifiable influence is the lack of male teachers in the educational system. In part it has been dictated by salary expectation able to support a family but here, teachers are paid very well. Much higher than some trades which have people who are doing OK financially. That, combined with the vast majority of fathers working, there are fewer and fewer role models for kids when their minds and characteristics are being formed. Unless dads are very involved in their children's lives they don't have the exposure to a strong role model that entrenches responsibilities, accountabilities and personal disciplines.

Of course that's not all the cause and all the teachers nor the students but as we can see how society is swiftly evolving, I think it's clearly a majority.

    My 2¢ anyway.

I remember the Komodo Dragon in a Johnny Quest episode as a youth. It did not go well for the bad guys.

first of all, theres steel in vehicles????? i thot they're all plastic vinyl and tin these days???? maybe instead of spending thousands on that try enforcing existing laws. plus i am sure theres more serious things to see about like maybe child traffickers. drugs smugglers, etc. etc.
