No way I'd spend over 30k for it but the bike does look nice.

    Agreed.

Wonder if one could just swap out fenders. The other "limited" one is the same color as regular production. Not that that matters too much if you don't mind arranging for painting.

I agree, then give Sonny Naylor a call for paint. You could have a full custom paint job, better stereo, nicer wheels, and probably a few other mods for less than the difference in price between the Limited and the Elite. Go with the regular Chieftain add a chopped fender and you would be WAY ahead!

I will say, that new fender has improved the looks of the bike tremendously!

Have you noticed how it's slowly turning to a HD. Not sure how happy I would be if I was a die hard Indian rider.

$31,000.00! Ok so a few guys with deep pockets will buy them and never ride. One color? WTF Polaris has a whole custom paint system in Spirit Lake that cost millions of dollars to produce "custom paint options". Now they has yet another shop in SD to paint bikes by hand???? So the A$$hats that are running the motorcycle division now are thinking what, We are all going to run out and by a Hardly Ablson look alike? Indian has been about cutting edge technology.... what I see here is a HD clone. So bets on how long it will take for Polaris to run this into the ground and kill the line?????

Reading a review about the bike on FB, the reviewer stated in the last paragraph to expect something big from Indian in the near future..... Candy apple green? This looks like the Victory Magnum, that sold fairly well but was not $31K. So what is Next a Indian Vision?????

My bet's already been stated; 8 years.

I think you're on to something. My guess is that Polaris management has already started smoking
peyote in attempt to get some vision . . .

It's a pretty Clanker! Better than the Lunatic Fringe one!

Whatever it takes to get a new Vision Concept, hell add a sweat lodge in the conference room.

For 30k does not come with heated grips, lowers or heated seat. They just changed the fender and color.

I really like how this Chieftain Elite and its Chieftain Limited brother look. I can't wait for other people to buy them so I can smoke them with one of my old, cheap, decrepit, orphaned Victories. Take THAT Polaris!

i see Polaris has heard the cry of many and is testing the waters without the classic indian front fender ( I'm a fan of the classic look myself ) . I hope indian adds ( with that bike ) are showing up on a bunch of Harley forums like Harley does here. will this send indian soaring or will this be the crash and burn scene,,, time will tell !
