Yo what’s up every1? I hope & pray all is well. So I recently removed my evaporative emissions canister from my 2016 Victory Highball. As I followed the lines, one hose connects underneath the gas tank, the other connects to a couple of vacuum hose connections, which connects to the idle air valve system. I’ve capped off the vacuum hose underneath my rear tire that used to connect to the canister, but left my vent hose in plugged from the gas tank. But after much studying & research, I was wondering what anyone thought about removing the idle air valve? There’s a little port on the side of the throttle body, I tried just capping that off, but of course the bike ran with a higher idle, I felt it sucking mainly through my intake, an felt like it accelerated quicker but not sure. I have a theory? What if I attach something like Lloyd’s adjustable air valve to that vaccum port on the side of the throttle body, with a mini filter, and manually adjust the air ? Any ideas for pros or cons? And is the idle air valve system currently stock “essential” to my Dynotune etc? Thanks:)
