The problem with that technology is when the side wear down you are riding on a very thin front tire, I think my E3 was about 1" wide. That is twichy steering. I don't take cornor fast but I guess even big curves at 70 mph wear the out sides of these tires. I have a Mitchelin on now with that same hard center & soft sides, doing the same thing. The hard center on it is about 1.25". 10K and its getting twichy. Going to go to the BT-45 next.

I just became a Dual Darsider. Put a Bridgestone Battleax BT-45R 140/70V18 V67 Rear on the front and it handles like a dream over my my Stock E3 [bald). Granted that the last front I put on [Metzler] it handled better than the bald tire, It was like stock again. BUT this on is just a dream, it is so good. I think it is do to the stiffer case [V67], but yet it's ride is softer @37 lbs. G019 on the rear is also @37 lbs.. Love it. Try it you'l like it!

Normal Street rider, you will like it. Better rear tire breaking with out locking up. May need to change rear brake pads before the tire wears out, I did. 3K more & I'll have 40K on it. A lot of my miles are highway miles at higher speeds & that eat up rubber. Just remember they are some what pressure sensative. I have a TPS on my bike and can tell when the tires get a couple of pounds low. It shows up in the handling. Got a BS G-019 175 because of a trailer hitch
