Hey guys, thought I would post this up. I couldn't find anything on it so I thought I would help the Octane community with this. Hope it helps. There is a Table of Contents in the description of the video. I will be making a more in depth review after spending more time with the new brake. Subscribe! Thanks!

Lol, man I feel like a stalker.I followed your channel on YouTube, then I saw your eBay listing, and now this video on victory forum. Lol, I am not a stalker by any chance, just a coincident, lol.

Cool, I'll check it out. I just sign up for this forum about half an hour ago, was searching to see any kind of helmet lock mod on members octane, but then I decided to click on your thread because of the title for brake mods. My front brake squeals pretty bad and it's less than 400 miles

I was planning to do a thread about my helmet lock.

Nice video. Good job on that, I'm wondering if pads would do a more drastic difference. Too bad you didn't have a set to put in at the same time. Our brakes definitely need an upgrade. Looking forward to seeing what you have coming.

I think I'll do pads sometime in the very near future because the stocks are so damn squeaky. I'll keep you posted. I also have a new episode with the new part processing now. Should be up today sometime.

The lock is a nice idea however, one should not place helmets over the mirrors as the mirror will indent the foam over time and therefore making the helmet less safe.
Thanks for the tip, that's something I hadn't thought about. The helmet doesn't rest on the mirror though, so it's not a problem in this case.

who's the manufacture of that helmet lock?
It's a generic helmet lock for a Yamaha MT09. I bought it on ebay (link) thinking I had to modify it, but it fits quite good.

I did this big brake upgrade with new pads. Made a nice difference. This rotor is 2" bigger diameter and it might be lighter then the stocker. I get less brake fade and the brakes are more responsive. This kit works.
