As @VicVisionBulldog (and @Keith Grey before him) have said many times, there are certain things that we are honor bound to report. Sadly, I experienced one of these events yesterday (rule #8).

Pulling up my driveway after work I neglected to pay respect to rule #7 while turning, and it caused my Vision to pitch high and then come back to the inside. I reflexively dropped my right foot and tightened the front brake while trying to pull it back up, but my ring finger was under the lever and the harder I fought it the more it was getting clamped. At that point I decided to honor rule #3 and trust the TOs. I am so glad they are there! Other than my pride, the bike and I came away unscathed.

I neglected to get it in gear or grab the brake on my first lift attempt, but the second time was the charm.

    VIDEO! HELL YEAH!

You put the stand down before lifting too..... But how funny would it have been to have video of you dumping it on the other side? Ok, maybe not to you. Lol!

Picked it up like a pro.

Congratulations! Yes, these things are heavy once they start going over. No sense in fighting it. You did well!

I am now evaluating if I really need that security cam over my driveway. OP was cool calm and collected and I appreciate the video but, I would have been crawling around checking every possible angle to make sure nobody saw that.

What a great bike the vision is. Glad you didn’t get hurt but it looks like maybe your finger ?

If I'd fought longer to save the bike maybe, but the TOs are a great safety net!

That's the advantage of living out in the country . . . neighbors are few and far between!

You do have a nice view. I can't wait to move back to the country.

Good on you for living by the code. Extra points for the video. Fly on Vision Pilot, you earned your tipover badge.

Crap happens and you followed the code. Great technique on the lift.

Man I dropped my XC one day in some mud trying to get out of my own yard (thank god I since have poured a butt load of concrete)...It went right and I went to pick it up and I over did it and it went over left. I was so mad at myself, looks like you recovered well though. Hope your hand isn't too hurt.

Hand recovered much quicker than my pride. @VicVisionBulldog is a fan of the dual-side test!

Twice since 2012, I have braked too hard turning to a stop. Once that load gets going, it's like Titanic. Just get out of the way.
Great pick up and good for you for posting that Video. We've all done it and all felt like an asshole doing it.
