Must mean they are getting bored with stealing the HD designs. Why bother spending time on R&D when somebody else has done it for you. :p

To me, the tear drop tank, 21" front tire, and handlebars are really similar. Also, the Sabre has the same front and rear fenders as the Vegas and the Stateline has the same as the Kingpin. It's really obvious. Good thing Victory added bullet headlights this year....

I don't mean to be offensive, but the Japanese are famous for copying other people's designs and making their own product. I can say this because I worked for a major Japanese technology company for over 7 years... there is nothing innovative about them from a new product/invention standpoint. They shine when it comes to taking a pre-existing product and making performance improvements.

You have to understand, this is a culture that was xenophobic and closed off from the rest of the world for thousands of years and only started embracing outside influences a mere century ago. Their culture is like a sponge now, pulling a lot of their influence from the West. Although they are an older society, their global presence is quite young. And like all young kids they mimic a lot of what they see while learning.

Anybody look at the new Honda Stateline and Sabre? The Stateline looks like the Kingpin and the Sabre looks like the Vegas. But with extra plastic chrome parts on the drive train...

I don't see the resemblance to Victory at all.
I also don't see whyHonda makes so many different versions of their 1300:
Fury
VTX 1300C
VTX 1300R
VTX 1300T
Saber
Stateline
Interstate
Do they really think the 1300cc market will support SEVEN different 1300cc products?

Non sequitur.
I know it is not logical to you, you think every one in the world should ride a 100ci bike or larger. Shame the rest of the world for wanting a lighter cooler running bike with almost equal performance... Shame on them those socialist...lol

Half Crazy, take a look:

Stateline:

Kingpin

Sabre:

Vegas:

Exact dupes? No. But there are a lot of similarities and this is new for Honda. These were introduced after the Fury... Anyway, that was my first thought when I saw them in the showroom.

WOW, never really paid that close attention. I knew I wanted a Victory and didn't really shop anything else. The similarities are very close.
