I just bought a 2004 vegas from a auction , It was involved in a crash. The bike has stock modified rear swing arm to accept a 250 rear tire. My prolbem is the swong arm is bent and has some stress cracks in it. I know the hammer swing arm is a common conversion , The prolbem however is the bike has a 9 inch rear wheel and it has 1 inch bearings.( wheel is aftermarket) Does anyone know the measurments of the hammer swing arm? Or know who can modify a stock one? Thanks alot.

Modify a stock? Probably not going to happen. Your going to need to buy a Jackpot or Hammer swing arm, and a 12" wide rear fender. You will also need to change pulleys unless you double weld two stock front pulleys together.

On a side note, I have an original 2005 Vegas:

Fender with tail light
Rear and Front wheels (brushed aluminum) with tires
Swingarm
Subframe fender brace
Belt Guard and Front pulley cover

IF you want to put it back together to the original look. Its all reasonable priced.

You have lot of work ahead you either way.

Check out the links below. Me and Erk have both done wide tire conversions this year to our Vegas's.
