Help removing road paint

IMO the safest way is WD-40...a little slower , but no paint damage. Then just was off the WD film left behind, put a bit 'o wax back on .... Done.

Road, as in paint used for striping? If it's like the stuff we used to use, then either an alkyd or "gorilla" paint. Either way, nasty stuff. Only way we could clean our equipment was Toluene, but you can't use that.
I'm not sure what else will cut it, but yeah, you're going to have to start slow and work your way through it.

Quick story, bad result: Few years back I bought a new Tahoe, BLACK, of course. Was coming up to my cabin for a week and they were sawing expansion grooves in cement roadway. Went thru about 1/2 mile of the water they were using to cool blade which of course was mixed with cement dust...got to cabin and truck wasn't used. When I got home noticed white splashes along lower side of truck...even though only going around 20mph, the traffic flow. The ONLY way to get off, sand blast and repaint!!
