Anybody done the heel toe shifter modification on the gunner or highball? Thinking of doing this but can't find a shifter that works.

Does it affect the lean angle? floorboard hitting the pavement on tight turns? thanks.

I personally don't think the floorboards affect the lean angle as I scraped the pegs before I put the boards on I ride my daughters HD slim and scraped the boards on my 2009 950 vstar I scraped the boards these are not sport bikes when my daughter had her 600 Yamaha you could lean it so far over you could touch the pavemt

Have them on my Kingpins, but quite frankly, don't use them. After 50 years of riding street and dirt, just can't get used to one.

I agree. Floorboards were a first with the Kingpins. When I bought my '07, I caught a Greyhound bus up to St. George, Utah from Capistrano bch. and rode it back. Floorboards really felt weird. Now, I love them, tho I scrape them once in awhile.
