What would be the best aftermarket heated grips for my 2015 Cross Country?

Why aftermarket instead of oem, price? The oem heated grips are awesome.

When was the last time you saw a complete kit? I got the last new set I saw 2 years ago.

The individual parts are available new and likely used from the usual sources.

Lot of money for that. My OEM are starting to deteriorate. I thought the threads I read on that were crazy but it is a thing. Rubber doesn't last forever and from my understanding Avon has same problem. I would probably go with Avon when my OEM does need replaced. They certainly look better. I know some do those sleeve things but I think that would increase diameter more than my short fingers would like.

My bike still has to OEM as far as i can tell. I wonder if it's from the warn rubber. They burn my hands on low

I installed the Avon heated grips in May as my OEM rubbers were worn out. I have approx. 8k miles since.
The Avons take a long time to heat up.
The Avon’s do not get hot like OEM.
The Avon switch is sometimes hard to discern between on/off.
The Avon’s Grip material feels rough even wearing gloves on long rides (3500 mile ride in May and 3200 mile ride a week ago).
The only thing I like better about the Avon’s is their look. Wish I could find some new OEM’s!

I thought too that the sleeves, I use " grip puppies " , would be thicker than I could accept. On my GW they were thick but they ended up being very comfortable. I really like them. They're only some $15+ on Amazon so you might want to try. They feel great on my Vision. They're also not affected by the oem heaters and work perfectly. Just a thought. Good luck.

I'm considering grip puppies or leather wraps on my Vision as I have big paws and want something a little bigger in diameter without sacrificing the heated feature.

I had both. The puppies are much better, IMHO. If you go with puppies I found just the soapy water wasn't good enough. Really hard to get on until I added some compressed air. Than fairly easy and no ripping. So you know.

Do you remember if you bought the oversized ones, they make a larger version designed for grips between 1.45-1.65 diameter. I need to measure my grips when I get home!

These are what I got. They increased to $19.99. Still very worth it.
