Haulbikes beware

So far, I've gone to get my bikes, either pulling a trailer or having my wife drive me up. I would take a flight and ride back if it was needed, but I would NEVER have a bike shipped. Anyway, going to get it is more fun and doesn't cost any more.

The second Nomad I bought, I had the wife drive me to Dallas to follow me home. The bike was absolutely perfect, but on the return trip it ran odd and gas milage was terrible. When I got home, I changed out the intake (the exhaust was already V&H and found the controller and reset it correctly. All was great after that. Don't let a rookie set the fuel controller.

Like my dad used to tell us, look like a monkey playing with his pud.
I totally agree on the fuel controller. My neighbor did breather and pipes on his Streetglide and dialed in the control module himself. Smoked the motor in one summer. It locked up from running way to lean. He never pulled his plugs to check for lean or rich just rolled it. Broke down had it towed home. Called me said you got a charger my bike won’t start. Brought my charger and nothing couldn’t spin the motor. I said man I think your motor is locked up . He said bikes got 16,000 on it impossible ! Lol yeah it was locked up solid
