So alarm sounds at 6:30am, I slide out a bed, throw on some threads, and step out the front door to start the tahoe so the windows would be clear when my son and I leave to drop him off at grandma's before I go to work.
One step out the front door, and something's not right!
I look around and there in my driveway is a yamaha raptor 700. I also notice that my garage door is 3/4 of the way open, and where my 16' hammer sat the night before was a lonely patch of barren concrete.
I walk around for 5 min, surveying the situation,
My first instinct is uh oh, one of my buddies must have got in a pinch. But I've never seen this quad before, and surely I would at least have a text if a good bro felt the need to commandeer my slab.
It sets in, I been dehammerd. Right outa my garage.
Sitting at the house feeling violated

The theft of the bike is bad enough, but I just installed my hand made 316 stainless handlebars, that I had about 3 months of spare time in building, and they were perfectly fitted to me by me. Had my freedom performance high outlaw pipe, and a set of torque tubes sitting on my kitchen counter waiting to install. It was really coming togeather .
The police say the quad was stolen, and a couple houses up from me reported someone stealing their gas can at around 4 am.
I think they were looking for more gas and saw my bike. UPGRADE. And rode off it, leaving the quad where it lay

It's unfortunate you didn't hear it and get a chance to end them. After all a Victory is a collectors item so deadly force is always justified.

Well that sucks. Hard to replace. Hopefully it's found and you get your bike back.

So they just lifted the door and helped them selves ?
Wow. What’s to stop them from entering the home ?
Sorry for your loss. Hope you get it back in harmed.

I had a mustang stolen from my driveway. Me and brother passed out in front of TV during a game. Keys on the counter in the kitchen.
Fukker walked right in. Good thing honey was at the movies with kiddies.
Rolled the car to the street. Started it and took off on 3rd or 4th gear.
How’d I know that ? Cause I heard it and thought nothing of it as I never heard my car leave like that. Thought it was someone else.
Later that night .... me and brother walked outside for a smoke and says ...... Gina take your car to the movies ? Where’s her car ? It was an eye opener.

Got the car back. 1 week later after report s of a high speed pursuit that was called off due to laws back then. Fukker was crazy. Found the car in the woods. Scratched to hell and pissed in and beer poured all into it. Horrible.

1 week later police were in pursuit of a stolen truck.
It was fukker. Well he crashed it and died.
The night he stole my car he was just released from prison that day. Go figure. Yes I had the car repaired but it was never the same to me. I felt so violated.

See here is another fine example of a person we don't need in society. I bet he had several felon convictions and under my plan, The Blue New Deal, he would have been taken out before he had a chance to steal your car or that truck and get in two chases and endanger the public and police.

Karma? There's a good source of protection.

So if a person breaks in your home with you there you are going to sit there and shake your finger at them while explaining they'll get theirs in the end?

Do y'all have some stupid laws that require you to be a victim? I know many states do.

I feel pretty free in my way too. If you break into my home I will feel free to end you. Therefore saving the community money by stopping future crime, reducing the innate population by one, and reducing the Court's case load.

Lol. No no. I'm well equipped to defend my home and property. I just prefer to live my life like I wont need it.

The thought that ending someone whom you have no idea of their intentions will leave you with at least 1 comfort ........ that your family inside your home was protected by you ! The man of the home ! The defender of your family and the protector of your property. I like a good dog and a 5 pump. Signs and cameras on my property state enough. If your foolish enough to come thru without announcement ?

Maybe two comforts.
1. Protecting your family.
2. Protecting any future victims.

As for my place,
Cameras? Check
Dogs? Check
Attack snakes? Check
Alarm? Check

Honestly if someone broke in my home they may have a better chance of living as I'm used to a high stress situations, searching buildings, and finding hiding people. BUT if they don't listen or even twitch without my command I can guarantee they will not live through the lead injections I give them. Being in my house my work regulations go out the window the turd broke in. I will make them all count and may do a failure drill just to be sure. That is if I'm home alone.

If my queen is with me they will not get as much as a warning as I'm not taking a chance there is not another around the corner.

Her orders if alone is to grab the shotgun and end them. Lock the door and if they try to come in put some buck through the middle.

I'll have them stacked in the front yard by the time police arrive. No reason to let them bleed on my floors. If I have enough time maybe I'll even take crime scene photos and bag any evidence. Lol!

That's how it is where I'm from in the country. I don't even have a key to the house.

Not the case where I am now. My neighborhood is good but we still get some turds committing crimes from time to time.

When I retire though I will be right there with ya. Hopefully in a lake house with a boat lift. At least two, a pontoon boat, and a bass boat.

You get it, I know I could have taken all kinds of precautions, I just dont wanna have to live that way. I hate locked doors. And unfourtionatly i still feel like the one instance that's bit me in the ass is worth a lifetime of living care free in that regard
