Welcome to the Vog. Lucky you being so close to Conqest Customs. We have a few from FL on here.
I rode with @firstvictory and 25 others down to KW a couple years ago.

Thanks! That's awesome, I've been searching for folks to ride with. Hopefully this will be the outlet to organize everything. I'll probably get out this weekend if anyone is interested in linking up. I usually ride anywhere from west palm to Miami so I can meet up wherever.Welcome to the Vog. Lucky you being so close to Conqest Customs. We have a few from FL on here.

I'm dying to get over to the West coast of Fl, because I remember back in college seeing all the cool roads like Corkscrew out there in Estero/Bonita Springs and would imagine what it'd be like on a bike.Welcome from the other end of Florida and we will send a couple "scattered showers" your way as the sun peeks out again. Bunch of cool guys down your way and enjoy the open highway for a bit more. After everyone being cooped up for this long, I bet it will explode later. Until till, what a great time to ride...
Was planning on going to Daytona for the races as I do almost every year and this crap did land right in the middle. Fitting that the state would let the bikers carry on as they were shutting down the state. Never heard about them pulling the permits. I bet that was strange to watch...I'm dying to get over to the West coast of Fl, because I remember back in college seeing all the cool roads like Corkscrew out there in Estero/Bonita Springs and would imagine what it'd be like on a bike.
I was actually in attendance for Bike Week on the day they plucked the vendors permits this year, so I literally watched Florida go from the motorcycle epicenter of the country to a ghost town. Pretty wild.
If we do end up getting a group together I happen to be a photographer as well, so we can take sweet pics of all of your rides too!
A few vendors rolled into the bar that I was hanging at bitching about their permits to sell on the last weekend had been pulled by the police. Everything else was business as usual though. Besides some of the larger displays like the Indian vendor exhibit being dismantled early. Was planning on going to Daytona for the races as I do almost every year and this crap did land right in the middle. Anyway, didn't make it, but there will be October...
I will agree and there are threads for that venting. Not that I would know :angel4:.A few vendors rolled into the bar that I was hanging at bitching about their permits to sell on the last weekend had been pulled by the police. Honestly I don't see this pandemic being as bad as the media portrays, but I'll leave my opinion in the thread specific to that topic.
Just hope we can all get back to normal ASAP and get back to what we love!
Noted thanks for the heads up!I will agree and there are threads for that venting. Not that I would know :angel4:.
Just as a heads up, be careful about talking about the lubricant in your crankcase as their these fanatics (like @slickvic ) that know everything about such chemistry and strongly believe in there particular concoction. Just don't write the "O" word or the thread is dust or would that be on a slippery slope...
Miss the Sushi bar. Oh I love the unique color of your scooter.
What color is that called and the story behind it?Noted thanks for the heads up!
Thanks! I absolutely HATED it at first but it has most definitely grown on me, I believe its the "Lucky Lime with graphics" that came from the factory in 2009. I get stopped constantly and showered in compliments. So I think that's why its grown on me. I was thinking about wrapping it a pearl white, but the frame is powder coated candy green as well, so more of a hassle than its worth. What color is that called and the story behind it?
Diffidently stands out in a crowd and things I wouldn't order, grow on one. As for white, always liked that color on a bike since a I saw a Honda 305 dream in the late 60's. This is my first white motorcycle and went thru Aspen yellow, Midnight Blue, Fire-engine Red and Root Beer before the Pearl White on the Boardy. Thanks! My dad had a Triumph Tiger chopper in the early 70's that was all white with some pastel colors incorporated into the graphics which looked awesome!Diffidently stands out in a crowd and things I wouldn't order, grow on one. Yeah I like the white and would look good as well on the Jackpot, but I agree with the hassle...
Ah, remember drooling over the BSAs and Triumphs back in the day until I bought a HD FX in the a fore mentioned blue. Now I am still looking at the Triumph Rocket or what BMW will do with the R-18. Something about white, but there are far less green scooters out there and I do like to find my bike in a sea of black. My dad had a Triumph Tiger chopper in the early 70's that was all white with some pastel colors incorporated into the graphics which looked awesome!
Conquest had a beautiful candy pearl white bike with metallic fish scale turquoise racing stripes that I would love to pick up as a second bike, not sure if they sold it or not yet.
