Good evening Guys,
New to this forum and was looking for some advice.
I just picked up a 2008 8 ball and also ordered new bars. I've installed plenty of bars on bikes but the fuel injection system is new to me. Is there any precautions when removing the throttle assembly from the bar. Is it just standard or do I need to be careful with the cable adjustments when removing.
Please reply,
Troy
I need a cheat sheet for all these texting acronyms. I have no idea what most of them mean. The only ones I really know are BTW, WTF, LMAO, and ROTFL Sorry for the hijack.

Hi,
Just replaced my normal VV handlebars with the Ness 2" forward ones. Not abig deal. Really improve the fit as I'm 6'4". Love em. Make sure you put down a towel over the tank to prevent damage.
You asked for a quick answer. If you have changed bars before there is noting special about changing them on a Vic. That's why my quick answer was a Nope. No lame questions, we are just a strange group! Stick around and you will see!
You were right Bubba.
Install was basic. I replaced the stock ones with a 6" rise t-bar set. The new bars are better but still not quite right. The pull backwas also 6" and the bars are a little wide (33') Oh well I'm sure I'll get used to them.

can anyone tell me if High Ball apes will go straight on a boardwalk which has the stock beach bars on. I heard that cables and wires wont need changing for longer ones but thought I'd ask the question first!
