I lived in Houston during the gas shortage of the late 1970s and while you're sitting in a gas line for two hours or more, no one complains about the prices.
So, my question is, would you rather have $2 per gallon gas and wait in line or $4 per gallon gas with no lines?
Being an optimist, this is a great time to ride on two wheels!

We need to burn more gas so that we can put the pressure on congress to drill ANWAR and the OCS. We have enough oil in the US to last us 200 years if we'd just go get it. Maybe when gas hits $10 a gallon there will be riots in the streets and the liberals will let us drill out of fear for their lives. So, let's burn more gas to get the price up to $10 a gallon. Worth the price to get those results. :)
