Completely stock Vic with the exception of tri-ovals (without a tune). Would this cause really bad gas mileage? I have averaged 32mpg this year (since I started keeping track).

    Edit: Underdrive pulley as well

32 is normal for cruising speeds over 85mph.

I try to keep my cruising speed below 80 which usually yields 40 mpg on what is basically stage1 XCt

32? That is horrendous. Are you talking mpg?... went back and see that yes mpg, If you can't get 40 or more something is wrong. I'm getting around 45 mpg. Stage 1 x-bow, S+S air cleaner and basic fuel controller, and the timing wheel.

Yes, mpg. I do oil reports and there's not fuel in the oil either.

Was the stage1 download installed? That will accout for a mpg loss of something like 5% then there's the UDP mileage of 7%.

Have you checked you tire pressure lately?

First thing I would check is the spark plugs for running rich. .... I assume the bike is running ok, That 32 isn't a typo is it? I'm totally perplexed.

No, stock tune. Just the slip ons. And tire pressure is checked every Sunday, I run 40 and 42 for front and rear respectively.

I also didn't notice a drop in gas mileage after installing the underdrive pulley.

If it makes a difference, 02 sensors are still plugged it

I'll admit my short coming on being able to read plugs well. I'll post a picture when I get home. And yeah, the bike runs great, no issues. Decel pop of course, but I figured that was due to the tri-ovals and no tune to support it

What's your typical cruising RPMs ?

If you're running above 3500 constantly that would explain 32mpg.

Got a brother in the wind on his new to him Stock Ness Vision he got 30mpg running 85-90mph for a 145 miles

I normally cruise at about 75 mph so I'm normally right at 3000 RPMs
