Here's my predictions for today. Sorry I didn't post the winners & losers from last weekend. I had a demanding 90 hr. work week this past week. I was behind the power curve all week. Here ya go - more bad predictions about this weekends match-ups.

My upset this week is Arizona over Iowa. Iowa is a very good team, but there is no way to prepare for the record heat we are having out here right now....109 today in Phoenix and Tucson won't be much cooler.....my guess is 102-104 at game time.

Even though I picked the Arizona "upset" over Iowa, I still do not think UA is a better team than Iowa. Play that game in normal temps (95+ degrees on the field for pretty much the entire game) and/or play that game at a neutral site and Iowa controls that game.

Also, Wisconsin had better consider themselves VERY lucky to escape the ASU Sun Devils. I wanted to put money on that game soooooo bad. That line started at 17 points and ended around 12 points. I would have taken ASU at 14......17 points was a no brainer.

Yeah - I was pulling for both Arizona & ASU. I had 2 brothers living in Phoenix at one time (One brother has been transferred to Austin, Tx.). I think both Az. programs are class acts - and - I'm biased - I love to see them stick it to USC!!
(Even though I'm in So. Calif.) USC's arrogance & cheating rubs me the wrong way.

I used to like USC until they started getting way too arrogant.....and now they have the scumbag of all scumbags in Lane Kiffin. He will have a recruiting/NCAA infraction scandal within 24 months guaranteed.

Being from Illinois, I am a Big Ten guy (Love Illinois basketball), but living in AZ for 8 of the last 12 years I feel there is a legitimate east coast bias due to the fact that most people in the media do not ever see any PAC 10 sports due to the time zones.
