Installed FMB Choppers Frisco H-Bars over the weekend, these are with a 12" rise.

I love the look, however at 5'9", the reach is not quite what I was hoping for. Close enough that I think I can adjust. These would be perfect for a 6' or so. Going to get some 2" forward foot controls and I think the riding stance will improve a bit.

Was able to reuse the standard cables and wires, in fact, I think I probably could have gone to a 14" rise and still would have had enough slack in the standard cables to work. YMMV.

Install was easier than I expected. Had to source 1/2x13 x 2.5in grade 8 bolts, torqued the risers to 40 ft/lbs.

I almost went with those,. They look really good! I put the 12" Phatty Phats on my Gunner and everything just barely made it.

If it's still too much of a stretch maybe look for a thicker tour seat from a Kingpin. It should move you up and forward just slightly enough to help you reach easier.

I'm not a fan of high bars but I have to say they do look good.

They aren't as high as they look, my hands are just below shoulder height. Shoulders / neck feel better with these than stock. Lower back not so much.

I also have the Corbin dual tour seat, I havent had that on the bike since installing the bars. I need to try that out.
