Did the final ride of this season ..... as come Monday I bring the 116 SC Hammer back to Lloydz for it's next incarnation of HP.

It was a great day ....sunny , about 58 degrees.
The present motor is now fully broken in ...I did about 9000 miles this year...
..... top and bottom end redone last season.
116 ci , stronger rods , balanced crank , massaged heads , Big boy valves , bla bla bla ...
155tq at 3.5k rpms ....to 180tq at 5k rpms ....right in the meat of where I like to ride.

So you might ask ..... why F with it ??

Well .... therein lies the addict part ....

;)

The bike now sits at 49k miles ....was hoping to breach the 50k mark.

.....however , work schedule and Mother Nature were not going to allow it ...

It's cool though .... as there's always next year.

Pete, that bike is a beast. Can't wait to see what you bring down to Maryland next year. Be safe brother.

There is always room for improvement,.... not sure what you could improve on with that machine though.

Still have not winterized the bike yet, as I am hoping to keep riding when I can before it gets too cold. I only got about 8K in miles and I’m retired so you did good all things considered.

Please keep us posted on what you do to your bike.

Well I must confess....I'm not done riding yet.
normally , I wouldn't be either .....
....however , I need the bike completed and back to me before Christmas week , as I plan on taking it south for the holidays...and now is when Lloyd has time.

Are you going in for more on the 116, or does Lloyd have the bigger engine dialed?
Either way trailing is a good idea this time of year.
I just got my first hard cold/snow.

Staying with the 116 at this point ..... 129" on back burner .

He has refined , improved the SC unit ...
New exhaust - Ground Pounders ...which allow for a larger SC pulley / belt....
Re- tune .

Needs new shoes , and brake pads....

Smart. Doing penance, and receiving rewards, all at the same time. :angel4:

And may I suggest a pair of asbestos bloomers, as your [email protected]@ is going to be on fire if you make that thing any faster. :FIREdevil:

Oh, you know, the usual 18 psi from a belt driven centrifugal supercharger forced through a large air to air intercooler...

Or was it one of those Thrdgears airboxes... I can never remember...
It's the 1st one .... yea. ;)

The temperature in Connecticut Saturday morning was 38°, I suited up and traveled 36 miles to meet up with some friends For coffee, The temperature when we left was about 40 to 45° and some beautiful riding.

By the end of the day it was 60° and with plenty of storage on my victory I was able to shed off a cow.

Ice and snow is the only thing that’s going to stop my riding season.
