Is this a pic of what you want or what you're selling? The Gatling gun tips you show are worth a pretty penny. Way more than standard tips!

Care to give us your reasoning for changing out the tips? Do you just not like the look? Have you seen some of the aftermarket ones (eg 4” resonators).
Also note that not all stock tips are the same. Some had the close out as part of the muffler while others the close out was part of the tip.

what are you trying to accomplish with your exhaust. Maybe we can help with other ideas.

I think the fluted tips are louder and that is what I don't like about them. It seems the close out is not part of my muffler as per the first pic. It is a 2014.

Thx for the added info. Tips will change the sound a bit, but not much. Do you have aftermarket/reworked mufflers? Are you trying to get a “stock” sound?

I have a question. @NOEMTZ will the tips from the Vision fit my CCT? I have a reason for asking. If yes then I have a set of "big mouth" tips if you want to trade.

The previous owner drilled out the catalytic converters. He also drilled out the right muffler baffle so I replaced it with a 2008 muffler off ebay. I noticed the close out is part of the right muffler. I wonder if I will need to find 2 different kind of stock tips? one with closeout ad one without?

You should probably contact @rajuncajun ( do a search for him on here) to help youfigure out what mufflers you want for the sound you're looking for.

I think the Gattlin tips are louder, they don't have the extra 2 inch tube extension nor the heavy packing around the tubes.

What do you have for mufflers? Are there standard worm clamps on the heat shields? If so, that’s a big indicator they are not stock and have been gutted/reworked.

Yes they are the standard worm clamps. The catalytic converters were drilled out.

The cats are in the head pipes, not the mufflers. With the worm clamps, that indicates someone removed the stock mufflers, revamped them (who knows how) and reinstalled them). The stock clamps have to be cut off and are not reusable.

sounds to me like you want a quieter muffler. You’d be better off looking for a set of stock mufflers or contacting @crosscountryla and see about him reworking your existing set to be milder.

Changing tips probably won’t get you what you are after.
