Hey Vic family. New here but figured this might be a good place to get some info. I'm looking to put electric cruise on my Highball. I know it can be done with this kit. Its on amazon Victory-Motorcycle-Control-Kingpin-2877177/dp/B077GD54BG
Anyone done it here or know how to? Just want to get some more info.

I'm surprised you found a kit. There have been a couple posts here about the Instalation of the OEM cruise control.

Fatal, Are you talking about the factory cruise control kit for your Highball or an aftermarket kit? The factory kit will come with installation instructions which tend to be pretty good. I couldn’t find the oem kit (2877177) you reference on Amazon.

Someone was looking for one a while ago. Maybe @Flyboy was the one?

I know where one is still sitting. If someone wants it let me know.

I was asking about one as I’d need it to get myself a Boardwalk, or any steel frame Victory. Tendon damage in my right hand necessitates it for extended riding.

If you have one available, please let me know.

@Chattanooga_Mark, have ever just tried a throttle lock? As I was looking for the OEM Cruise Control years ago and just went with the throttle lock like I had on a Gold-Wing and had to make a couple small mods during installtion see below. In adition there is the “Throttle Boss” I have used, but just can’t get used to it that relieves the tension on the tendon...

Funny my old Harleys didn’t even have throttle springs and Life was easier till someone “What if” it out of existence...

@Chattanooga_Mark I run the “wide” version of the cramp buster. Works great!

I've used a cramp buster and it was great, but the factory cruise is a freakin gem. I found a kit on ebay a few years back for my KP. I had to make a bracket to mount it, but that was no biggie. I cant imagine not having it for long rides

After 35+ years with older Moto Guzzi bikes I know what it's like to use a throttle lock instead of an actual cruise control. I got to like the Throttlemeister brand as they were really nice. Though I believe that company is now out of business. But I did start out with a $10 Throttle Rocker, decades ago.

Not having either a throttle lock or cruise control is what ruined the tendons of two fingers on my right hand. 1064 miles non stop except for gas from northern New Mexico to Fullerton, CA. Those two fingers have been sore since that day, about 25 years ago.

Blue Emu, I know it shows like BS, but after a couple months of every now and them and it works...

Never would have believed it, but.
