It just gives you something to remind you that you made the right choice. Just continue to the specs and price and it makes me feel better. Not that I haven’t owned a couple of the ole HDs and they were pretty and ran okay. But once I straddled the Victory, for the first time and placed it into first and the clunk knocked a filling out, I knew this ***** was going to impress.
As I test rode up into the hills of Northern Alabama and approached the first curve, it was like she read my mind and sliced that curve like it wasn’t there. Shifted to fourth and tried to figure what was I going to do with the last two gears ( hadn’t rode in a while) as she shot up to 80 without a grunt.
I was in love and wondered where she had been all my life and how could i have missed that function and form could go hand and hand. Sure she don’t have all the bling and shiny bits of the Hog, but she is like that understated ride with the curves in the right places, built for speed and comfort....
They claimed they were the “best bikes on the planet”, they are... Yeah, I look every now and then at what HD became after Vic and see everyone has one and how they find them in a parking lot amazes me.
I just look for a couple dudes or gals hanging around a bike and it usually my Vic... Damn flirt.
