I just ordered a quick release Givi V56 dbl helmet trunk from Italy, and want to do some custom LED lighting...Red running, Red Brake, and Amber turn signals.
Admore Lighting makes a kit for about 150 bucks, but I'd prefer to make it myself if I can save a few bucks and learn something along the way.
I know very little about which strip LED's or controllers (if I need them on a 2012 cross bike) to use so any information is much appreciated.

They have a pretty cool signal for just under the levers too!

It'll be a little while as it's coming from Italy, and I have most of the bike parts removed for cleaning while there's snow outside, but I'll post a picture or two when I get everything back together.
