My new XC is sitting at the dealer 100mls away, and I can't get of work to pick it up. I'm working 6to7 days a week and will be til Nov. Although many of my buddies have offered to go pick it up for me, I want ride my bike home from the dealer. Its not right for anyone other than me to the first miles on it. Right?

Your right, you should be the first rider! By the tone of your post, it sounds like you might be coming down with a 24hr flu. You better call in sick. :)

Yes it could be worse. You could be unemployed and wondering how your going to pay for that bike. And yes you should be the only one to take it on it's maiden voyage.I hope your work days go by fast for you.

i'd have the dealer hide the key somewhere so you could pick it up after hours if you wanted to.

Oh screw that I will be the first to volunteer to fly up and ride it to your house... Just think of it as delivery from a legend...lol
Hey legend,you can't ride that bike,it's not a vegas!
It's a Vegas with fenders and bags.. Sort of like a Kingpin Tour...lol
Put a cupholder on it....he won't go near it...lol
