It is a tough call. Not have enough officers? Or have officers that are from the bottom of the barrel? Both are terrible options.

Instead of lower standards police officers should be paid more and backed by the government. Not hung out to dry every time some dirtbag gets killed for doing dirtbag things. Hold bad officers accountable but not the the ones just doing their darn job. Extinguish riots with force and take a stand on crime instead of the hug a thug program so many are pushing.

Seems like a good job done by the officer. Would that rather the officer turn the person's head into a canoe? Hopefully nothing comes of this because it shouldn't. People don't seem to know that when a officer is justified in using deadly force most rules of engagement go out the window. Reaching for what appears to be a gun would fit the bill.
