My 2008 Jackpot has a hydraulic clutch. I bought the bike last year and it is the first Victory I have owned. It has 15,000 miles on it.

When I release the clutch lever to start my ride, I have the lever very close to the fully released position before she starts to roll. There is an inch or so of play left till the lever is fully released. Is this normal for a Jackpot or does it indicate wear?

Are you sure you have all the air out. It sounds normal for a hydraulic clutch. They have very little to no free play for any hydraulic system no matter what Vic you have

Ya, I hate the feel of the hydraulic clutch on a Vic. Feels like it's never gonna start grabbing. I have heard of a few that replaced it with a cable setup so they could get the feel and control they wanted.
