I really dont want to fork out 500 bucks for Victory's chrome engine pulley. There are a few shops here in town that do chrome plating for way cheaper than it would be to buy a new one. Does anyone know if i'll run into issues (belt slipping, fitment, etc) if i were to have it chromed?

I assume you are talking the rear wheel drive pulley.
