Hey folks. I’ve never changed the brake pads on my bike and it’s time. I have Brembo calipers but I have no idea how to get the pads out. Every video I’ve seen says to first, remove a bolt. These have no bolts. Can someone give me some insight on how to do this?

Do you have a manual for your bike? That will walk you through the steps.

if you don’t have a manual, download via the link below. Fellow Vog member BBob has graciously compiled them for us.

I believe you have to use a drift to drive the pivot pin, It’s been a while for me. As I recall you drift the pin just enough to swing one pad out at a time. If you take both pads out at the same time the retainer clip falls out at the end opposite the pivot pin & it’s a real pain to get back in place.

You have to remove the small "R" clip then drive the pin inwards and @ByteN2it said release only one pad at a time or that clip can gets dislodged and then it turns real ugly. We need to know what replacement pads did you fit? My organic EBC replacements on my Kingpin work OK but leave a lot of brake dust everywhere.
