There is no doubt I need a taller wind screen. I have looked the victory (photos) recurve and the Cee Baily and not sure which will offer the best protection. Making the wife comfortable is a must. Buffeting isn't bad but the wind noise has to go.
I could use a little more pull back on the bars.

any ideas

Hi DD! Good to see you.

I have the Cee Baileys shield and it is a great improvement. The boss couldn't tell a difference but she's pretty much protected by my girth so wind noise/buffeting was never a problem. Others have the Gustafsen shield, with the lip, and from what I've read it is a great shield. With the lip, I'd be concerned that the wind would swirl behind the driver and actually cause more noise/buffeting for the passenger.

Depends a lot on your height. Ideally, you want to see over the top of the windscreen by a couple inches, but it is also dependent on personal taste. As an example, I am 5'10" and I got the 13" Cee Baileys. It works perfect for me. Along with the Vic lowers, I have no wind buffeting issues anymore.

Not sure on the bars....I am happy with my stock ones so I havent looked into it

Depends totally on your height which w/shield to get. I like the Vic tall shield, I'm 6'1" with a 32" inseam and look atleast 2 inches over the top of it. SRVT makes a set of 2" pullback bars for the XC.
