The Vision bags are not as big as CC/CR bags. The trunk option makes the CC even better for carrying stuff. With a new bike, I'd think about that "drive-it-off-the-lot-depreciation" before I'd get rid of it for another new one.
I would venture to say that the cost of the trunk is less than the depreciation hit you will take by getting rid of it.
