I would love for them to start making Victory’s again. I have a 2014 CC and totally love this added timing gear and a programmer, out running Harleys all day long stock and screaming Eagles set for way less money. Talked to LLOYDZ and hooked me up with the right programer and timing gear, then got it tuned what a deference like a new bike ! Wish they would stop making Indians and bring back the Victory’s and push it as hard as they been pushing the Indians and I promise you the sales will be up !

    wont ever happen, sadly

vicory and all its r&d was rolled into indian. the challenger and its engine were supposed to be victory's. thats about as close as you will get.

the main reason.. polaris can sell a indian branded toilet seat ... they couldnt sell victory anything. TONS and TONS of profit in Merch.

PS - they orignially wanted the indian name but couldnt buy it at the time, so they built Victory from the ground up. once Indian became available to buy..... we all saw what happened.

What? They stopped making Victory? I thought they just changed the name to Indian because the Indian name is well known & has world wide recognition but that’s probably just a rumor

:huepfenicon111:Wish your dream would come true, except let them make both Victory and Indian. At least you an I can console ourselves in having the best looking and faster Cross Countries in Havasu Red and tuned to perform.

Dont forget about the EPA part. The gov didnt like the motor and the europe market wasnt going to let the 106 come in anymore or something like that. So facing a complete redesign didnt help. Population of bikers declining/ bad Victory sales numbers/ Indian taking off. If they will build an Indian with a Victoryish Fairing and body work everybody can be happy. Also include Forged Bars for tip over and fucking deer protection.

Those who dont forgive wont be happy but who can blame them.

108 was gonna fix the EPA and Europe issue I think.

Victory is gone. Doesn't really matter just keep enjoying your bike.

    A, it will never happen.
B, the existence of A precludes none of us from stating we still wish it would happen. So...
C, I wish they would relaunch Victory too.

I hated when they pulled the plug but corporations are created to make money. I still hate that they pulled the plug. Out of the 20 years they made them over 1/2 of those years they made well less than 10,000 bikes. They did push them hard but they didn't sell enough of them. Depending on the dealership they seamed to be great or horrible with no in between. Dealer network was sparse too. Parts supplies were very slow in may cases.

So they owned a name, built a knockoff of bikes dead for 70 years like others had and sold the name. The tech that came out of Victory went into Indian. Todays Indian is much more Victory than it is Indian. The dead Indian from 1953 leaked oil, didn't go fast, and didn't sell. The rebadged Victory called Indian rides well, is dependable, and can get out of its own way. All because Polaris knew how to do it because they built Victory for 20 years. Indians are pretty cool, and your bike is why they are.

I am too old to ride motorcycles but if I was buying a bike now it would say Honda on the side of it. The Wing is an amazing piece of technology. But it should be considering that Honda changed the motorcycle industry forever by making motorcycles consumers could afford that didn't break every 5 minutes.

I never bought the epa argument for a second. First off they already had the 108 and a bike to put it in, they scrapped those. Secondly they're still selling the 111 and 116, pushrod 2 valve per cylinder motors. You can't tell me that it's easier to get those new relics to pass than an OHC 4 valve per cylinder motor nope! It was all about the Indian brand being easier to sell for more money and production capacity.
