I have my chrome on the front and it's great. Still waiting to finish up the E4 on the back to install the rear chrome sitting in my garage. Soon.

I’ve always said Avon best tires I ever ran on. And I’ve run most out there. Sticky wet or dry they are excellent in everything but mileage. But 2 sets a season getting costly. I’m giving the E4 a go. Rides well even in the rain hasn’t broke on me yet. We will see

I've been on an e4 for a little while, and maybe this will help. At first, it was too easy to break traction riding upright on anything resembling a moist surface. It got better after about 2000 miles. Still can break traction, wet or dry, but it takes more effort now. It seems that you have to "trust" the tire and don't halfway it through a turn, but get it on over so that you are contacting the softer material on the sides. Riding the tire a bit more agressively than it feels actually works better. I still haven't ridden mine like I would the cobras, but it has performed well with a bit of break in time.

I’ve got about 4g on mine. Rode 2up loaded down with the Boss lady on. We hit some descent rain coming home from NYC in Pennsylvania on the turnpike. Holding a pretty consistent 75. Thru the twists I gotta say it held very well never broke. Seems to be a good all around tire so far. I’m sure it’s not as sticky as my Avon. But haven’t been west to run some good canyons yet either

Picked up a new rear for $234, arrived late friday and headed out to get it mounted today. Ordered a set for the gunner, total for front and rear is $291 without rebates. Rear arrives today, front is on backorder. Excited to get it off the lift after almost 2 weeks.

Drilled a hole and dumped the dyna beads to reuse because I forgot to order new. I gave the last shop 2oz to add but dumped 3oz out. Guess they added some for me. Or picked up some by magic along the way, either way, they'll work.
