I just ordered a full set of Cobra Chromes and will be installing the front in about a week or so. The back will not go on for probably 5 -6 K miles as that tire is still good. But I will be posting later as I have a chance to assess the ride and behavior. Good news is, we are planning a trip to NM the end of this month, so I should know something rather soon. Maybe go ahead and finish off the back tire and have the new chrome mounted when we get back.

And I guess I'll also get the rebate.

The rebate takes a while to get processed, but after about 9 weeks I finally got my Pre Paid Avon Visa card. Absolutely love the new set of Avon Cobra Chrome tires. My Jackpot rides awesome with the new tires

Well, I just ordered a set of Cobra Chromes for my Magnum. I would prefer radials front and rear, but since E3’s are my only choice for a radial on the front, I decided to give the Cobras a try. I still have some miles left on my E3 front and E4 rear, but honestly, I’m sick of the E3 wearing faster than the E4. And everyone know how a worn E3 handles! I’ll put a few more miles on my current set before changing over to the Cobras.

Thanks! I just saw others were talking about it earlier in this thread. I’ll go to their website and see if it is still going on.

I purchased the Cobra ‘s and they handles best at low speeds. But the radial E3 is tons better at high speeds and so much stable on the Magnum. I’m somewhat of a hard rider and the Cobra is not as good over 100 plus. Can’t want to wear the front bias ply out. In the future only radial s for me...just my 2cents....ride safe my friends

Doesn’t look like they have the rebate anymore. I couldn’t find it on Avon’s website if they do.

I rarely see triple digits, but I also do my best to avoid straight roads. I do ride hard in the twisties tho.

Cobras are great in the twisters, but not good at triple digits... yes we have a lot of straight here in ole sunny Florida.

Someone said Dunlop blessed the E4 Cobra combo. So far I am fine with the cobra up front.

Just there a front and rear Cobra Chrome on my 2016 Vision and registered for my rebate. Paid $219 and $167 through Amazing and changed and balanced them myself. I run the last version of Avon Cobras on my 2016 Magnum and love them. I'll hit 100 mph on occasion and haven't had any problems but I love the way they grip in the twisties. Hoping the Chromes are as good.

I only have a few hundred miles on my Chrome's on the XC, but so far I like them. Eventually I'll get some more miles and be able to push them a little harder. I'm not the most aggressive rider, but every so often it is fun to see what I can do.

Results are in for the rear AV92 Avon Cobra Chrome. 9,534 miles of spirited riding and the belt is showing. Although it's less than any of the previous brands I've used, this sucker gripped very well until the very end and today, it lost traction a couple times. But, even with less life, I'm still very happy overall with the tires. I'll be ordering a new rear tonight. Front has about 4500 miles on it and looks new still. Will update when that one is ready to get replaced.
