For any brand there are still few kids on bikes in fly over country. Yes most HD customer base is 40 + thats why they have been trying to get young people on uncomfortable sportsters with ridiculous prices for seats. They spend all the hopium on getting young person on a sportster and then its rape time when it comes to basic things like seat comfort. It really is hilarious and If I 20 something and able to make a smart buy on a decent bike it would not be a hd product.

Greetings,
Turn 60 in Jan ('23). First motorcycle at 12 yrs (ct90). Less than a handful of years without something in a garage somewhere... My kids ride (30's), but they ride with older farts...

Ride safe,
Smokier

Turned 81 this year. CR still feels good. Not ready to throw in the towel yet.
I hope I'm as fortunate as you've been and I can tell my grandkids that I still have the love of riding. Stay safe and enjoy the ride, you never know when it may end.

thats a nice looking mini bike. Hopefully he enjoys it so much that 2 wheels are with him for many years.
He loves it so far. Bought it new and would only go about 18 mph. He got bored with that quickly so I disabled the governor and adjusted the throttle stop. Does 40 mph now. More than fast enough for him on a bike that size.

I've been riding since I was 10 or so, drank a few beers and slept since then so might be a year of so off. Started on a mini bike then grew up and into trail and dirt bikes. I've been licensed for the street since 1991 and have a bike in the garage as long as I wasn't stationed overseas. I'll turn 60 in Feb and I plan on riding my Cross Roads till the wheels fall off. Slow down, enjoy the ride and the wind in your face.

I’ve been riding since I was about 15 or so, and I’m 72 now. No plans to quit, but I notice I ride shorter distances now. Still good for a full day of riding though. I too, notice a lot of older guys and gals on bikes. Particularly big bikes. I think part of it is that the larger cruisers or whatever are more comfortable. Plus we slow down a bit as we age, so don’t need to be going everywhere at 80 plus mph.

I also think there is less interest from a lot of youngsters. They seem more interested in video games and artificial entertainment then working on bikes and riding them to experience the physical aspects of riding a bike. Not saying that’s necessarily bad, just different.

I”m not sure what the future holds for large bikes. I sometime think the later generations will not have the same wants an desires as most of us in the 50 plus age range, but I have no figures to back that up. Just a feeling I get.

I‘ve had all kinds of bikes from crotch rockets to enduros, etc. I have three right now, and they are a mix. A 2000 kawasaki W650, a 1995 Honda 750 nighthank, and a 2013 vegas 8 ball. Each bike is different in all aspects, but I enjoy riding them all and each bike gets ridden at least once every couple of weeks.

Tomorrow, it’s the Vegas turn. Portland Oregon to Astoria and back. A full days ride, plus lunch at a fine restaurant! Going with a mate of mine. Actually met him for the first time when I bought the nighthawk.

I started riding in collage because I could not afford a car (125CC or 135CC Bridgestone). Sold my next Suzuki 15 or so years later, kids were growing up and was more involved with family, work, etc. Restarted in 2014 (68 years old) with 2004 Kingpin to ride with friends once a week plus some extras. It seems clear that the younger generation is not into to bigger, heaver bikes like HD, Victory, Indian. But then when I was younger I could not afford these bikes either.

Started riding @ 16, will turn 70 in January. Wife and I completed a 4900 mile trip in 19 days thru 9 states and 2 provinces about a month ago. Go to the gym regularly, eat better, and drink less and hope to stay on 2 wheels until 80. Neither of my sons are interested in bikes. Son-in-law is but family and job constraints keep him from riding now. So far, none of the grandkids seen real interested but do have a couple of possibilities there. Hopefully, one of them will develop an interest and be worthy of inheriting the Norton.
