I know this is a very rookie question, but I've been browsing the forum and I'm getting confused. Been riding since 2011, but have never customized anything.

I have a 14 Jackpot that I'm wanting to throw some apes on. I've decided on the FMB 16" Mercenary apes, can someone please recommend to me what kit is needed, or what all cables I need?

I think you can go 12" without extending anything. You may be able to reroute the clutch cable and wires to make the 14" work but the brake line might not make it...

If the above won't work, Conquest sells longer cables. I just got a new clutch cable from them.

I'm sure Scott could help with length recommendations.

call and talk to Scott at Conquest Customs ... he will need to know what risers you are using, how tall the bars are and how wide the bars are, from bar end to bar end, to figure out the extra length you will need for your cables and brake line . if you have that info ready he can hook you up in a breeze!!

This link is for the wire extension kit for your bike. Conquest is super helpful so they will help as well. This is for the electrical controls etc.

Handlebar Extension Wire Kit 24" Victory by Namz

You have the electrical wires (linked above, I ran through my bars)
    Clutch cable (separate purchase)
Brake cable (the shortest - separate purchase)
throttle cables (if you need them? - separate purchase)

I went FMB 12" and just hung the cables for a season. Looked like hell. Bought the wiring kit and extended brake cable and re-wired everything and ran through the bars. Looks so much better.

    Good Luck!

Here is a video of the finished product. I do wish I ran the loam under the riser but too lazy to take it apart lol.

Also sorry for the sideways camera. Hurts my head to watch it!

Yeah, you know, that warning sticker or whatever it is on the top, front and right in the center of your tank.
