Victory is giving $2500 off the Cross Country bikes (black Friday thing), and I can stack another $1,000 military discount with that.

The local dealer will also drop off another $1,000.

They have a leftover 14, 15 and some new 16's.

I want the Cross Country - not the tour model.

They also have a Cross Country 8-Ball, but I'm not yet sure of the difference.

    Anyone?

Look on here for advice to fix buffeting and buy yourself a CCT. Just don't demo the Vision first. Ride safe my friends.

8 ball is missing cruise control, AM/FM/weather radio, ABS. You can fix the wind buffeting issue for around $200-$300. Victory dealers (in general) don't do customer service very well. There are good ones out there so I've heard. If you can turn a wrench you won't need them much. Oil changes are simple on VIC's. That's just off top of my head!

I have an 8-ball. If I had it to do over again I'd buy the Tour. It costs a whole lot less to buy the accessories upfront (Trunk, Radio, Lowers, Crashbar) and you get ABS.

Buy the tour model and just remove the trunk and lowers if you wish, but when you travel on it you will LOVE the trunk and the lowers!!

I would say you probably could get the 2014 or the 2015 at a lower price since you stated they have all three as a left over. However I would rule out the CC 8 ball if it was me because you will find yourself doing more touring and may want certain features that it doesn't offer. Honestly I love my cc magnum because it suites my needs but if I was to start doing two up riding I would add a trunk. The CCT wouldn't be a bad bike to look at simply because as one other person stated you can remove the trunk and basically have the CC and also will have the buffeting issue taken care of since it has lowers already on the bike.

    1) CCT= Best Value as far as features (bags, abs, cruise, heated grips, trunk, and lowers) and price is good.
    2) CC= Great bike as well and gives you the bags that you desire and some come with abs, cruise, and radio.
    3) CC 8 ball= Probably get a good price on one but not as many features !

So i say get the one you want but just keep those things in mind. Because you may not realize you like being able to throw on the trunk and take a road trip until you actually have one.

Go with the Tour as others have said, if you really don't like the trunk you can always sell it but will have all of the other features. Either one is a great bike...

Shoulda kept the BW, but I too am thinking of a CC, but a Tour. More for the money and the extra stuff comes off!
