I am visiting relatives in Eastern TN and my ABS light came on yesterday. I have let the bike set for a couple of hours and it still is illuminated when I ride away.

Anyone know of a dealer who will look at my 2016 Vision? I don't relish riding 700 miles home without ABS, especially through D.C.

    Thanks!

when my abs light went on like that, it was my battery terminals not tight enough-- caused minor voltage fluctuation that messed up computer --- also had to change my Buss fuse ($8 at NAPA)

When my 16 Vision ABS light was staying on the dealer replaced the battery, some low voltage codes. But it did not fix the issue, ended up being the speed sensor.

Good folks at Friendship Motorsports with a good shop. Course they’ll want to sell you an Indian while you are there...

I had a different experience with them on the phone. The service guy told me that they really don't work on Victorys and all he could do for me is an oil change. He referred me to a dealer farther North in Wytheville.

A service manager suggested that would be the problem. He said he has replaced a few over the years.

Sorry you had that experience. I bought my bike there and have always been treated well, at least before the Polaris boning. The dealer in Wythevill is/was small. Star City Powersports in Roanoke still services Victory, but if you need parts, there might be a wait. Victory parts I have ordered there are always 10 days or so.

I had a poor connection inside the Buss fuse attached to the battery -- Victory called it a circuit breaker. Water had gotten in. A new one at NAPA is $8 No more ABS codes since

On the long ride home the ABS reset itself, somehow. Leads to the battery are fine. Weird it lit up for 3 hours and would not reset. Then it didn't come on at all on the ride home. The brakes are working fine.

I suffered some bad wheel corrosion and rust from riding this winter. I'm wondering if that could have been the culprit. I thought I'd thoroughly washed the bike, but the brakes and wheels look like shite. But I'm new to salted roads, having spent most of my life on the West Coast. Live and learn.
