That sounds like a death sentence to me. Not just because the HD riders are not going to want that but the aftermarket side of things will be dead too. You don't put exhaust on an electric bike.

Can you vtwin an electric motor?

of course the famous “potato” sound will now come from speakers mounted on the bike…just like the new Dodge electric cars.

Going all electric. Good luck with that Zeitz. The stupidest comment to come out of a motorcycle manufacturer's CEO after Polaris' CEO Scott Wine kiboshed the Victory. I'm sure the future Harley riders are looking forward to upgrading to these "meaner" machines after riding somewhat limp-wristed excuses for transportation.

Livewire on a flat highway, no wind, one up might get you 150 miles. Then wait and wait while it fills with electrons.
The Board should consider getting rid of that bum before he starts marching on his 'save the world' bandwagon.

Wonder what the plan is for having iconic oil stains under the Harley electrics?
Perhaps a ‘weep hole’ in the hydraulic brake calipers so the new all electric H-D can still leave its signature oil stain on the ground. If they go with full on electric brakes, then a separate system may be required. It could be a reservoir to hold a liter of a full synthetic motor oil type liquid. This would have a drain tube attached to it with a small opening at the end to allow for an ‘oil stain’. Simulated of course because no full electric H-D would use actual ‘oil’.

Better yet, an LED ‘puddle light’ that shines on the ground with a plate over it that projects an ‘oil stain’ image on the ground. Yea, I like this option.

This ought to go over like a lead balloon. Maybe it should be titled "HD Going Out of Business".

Harley-Davidson is planning to phase out motorcycles powered by its storied internal combustion engines, and will slowly but surely transform into an all-electric brand. Harley CEO Jochen Zeitz tells Dezeen that after 120 years of being famous for its big gas-powered models, electrification is the logical next step. That is, if the company plans on sticking around for another 120 years.

Harley-Davidson’s EV transition “needs to happen,” according to its CEO, and not just on a small scale with a brand like LiveWire. No, we’re talking H-D dealers selling EVs exclusively, although it isn’t going to happen overnight.

I just saw the over priced anivasary editions. Same color as the vision anivasary. Lol.
Nothing new and exciting at least for the price. They will not survive if they don't take some chances with updated styles and electronics.
Easy said though. Victory was a bust with the vision who thought it was too futuristic. The Magnum was the first cool bagger with a 21 wheel. Etc...
Polaris still takes chances like the high price ftr which is like a class of it's own to some and the challenger with its bull nose.
Please help us all.

Come on seriously you saying you can’t justify the new 120th anniversary Roadglide CVO at $52,000 plus tax title prep and freight ! I mean it’s painted exactly like 1984 goldwing I’ve seen… except the 84 wing is faster. LMAO they are out of control with this silly $hit !
