Had an accident on Friday - got hit by an ambulance. No lights/sirens, so I guess they were not on a run.
Details: we were both turning right - I was in the second lane turning and they decided that they needed all 3 lanes on US1, instead of staying in the right lane. Pushed me into the curb in the median (3 lanes over) before they realized they had hit me; if the curb hadn't been there I would have been forced into oncoming traffic.
Lucky for me I had decided to take my truck as it was too hot and humid to wear a helmet, so I just got some bumps and bruises, headache, etc.
My question is: If i had used full synthetic instead of semi-syn, would still have happened?

Laughing all the way to the bank!

Had you been using full synthetic you would have had the extra HP to get out of their way. So no it would not have happened.

Guess you didn't get the optional brakes on your truck either? Lol

Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you are ok. Lets see some pictures of the truck. I to am a fellow truck driver for many reasons, one of them is that they usually hold up better in accidents.
