Thanks for the info - great riding in that area! I have been to Hatfield AR to attend the CMA rally, and it was a great time!

For those of us that don't do FakeBook, will there be Rally information posted on the Forum?

    Greetings All,
Like @Texasbaehr stated: "For those of us who don't do FB"... Is there a way to see the itinerary? The bride and I are planning on attending. We'd like to pre-order a couple of tee-shirts. Anyone willing to relay information in either direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Ride Safe,
    Smokier

I spent a few days based out of the HIE in Harrison, AR two weeks ago. Fantastic riding and scenery. My favorite road signs said “Steep and Croocked Road Next 11 miles”

I clicked the link to the Fakebook page and copied and pasted so the info is on this Forum. Not sure if there is more info on the page as I do not have an account to log in.

"Hello Vision Riders (and anyone else that would like to join us). Here are the details of rates and accommodations for the 2020 Vision Gathering Oct 1-4,2020. Rates will apply even if you arrive early or check out later.

We have confirmed with the same three hotels from last year. They are all owned by the same group and were very accommodating to our group last year.

When you call them, please reference "Victory Vision Group" to get these rates. Call the hotel directly to get the rates. Rates quoted are the per night rate:

    HOST HOTEL:
    Hampton Inn and Suites
    121 AR-43 East
    Harrison, AR 72601
    PH: 870-365-0505
    RATE: $110 PLUS TAX

SISTER HOTEL (same parking lot of host hotel):
    Holiday Inn and Suites
    117 AR-43 East
    Harrison, AR 72601
    PH: 870-741-3636
RATE: $103.99 PLUS TAX Regular room
RATE: $123 PLUS TAX Suite room

SISTER HOTEL (within 2 miles of the host hotel):
    Quality Inn
    1210, 65 N US-62
    Harrison, AR 72601
    PH: 870-741-7676
    RATE: $89 PLUS TAX

    CAMPERS:
We did not call and get a rate but the reviews of the campground look good and is not too far from the host hotel:
    Harrison Village Campground
    870-743-3388
    website: www.harrisonvillagervpark.net

I will post more details as I receive them from the hotel. Note that the Holiday Inn hotel remains under construction. They have completed the 4th and partial 3rd floors and all public areas are completed. There is a possibility that construction on the 1 & 2nd floor may still be happening.

All hotels will have FREE hot breakfast every morning BUT it will no longer be self serve and the hotel is asking for our patience. They should have it figured out fairly well by then but they wanted to point out that this has been the most challenging part of opening back up to the public.

One last note, I made all these arrangements through the General Manager - Lisa Best. If for some reason, the front desk person does not have a clue about our gathering, please mention Lisa's name.

    Look forward to seeing everyone!"

This sounds like great fun! Unfortunately I’m over 1,000 miles away (not an issue for the mighty Vision) and have other obligations that weekend.

plz post lots of pics for those of us not on the book of faces.

Thanks all for stepping up. The nephew just announced his wedding weekend.... Yep... So all the noise I made and we don't get to go after all.
Thank you @kwivrme for the offer...

    Ride safe,
    Smokier

Is the Victory Vision community so exclusive, so big and so active as to promote a single model rally from a dead manufacturer? It seems like having a rally for AMC Hornets but not really wanting other AMC models to show up.

As a Vision owner and first time attendee this year... I'd enjoy the company of ANY other rider. The idea, I think, is simply to attract a good number of Visions.

We ARE a special bunch though :pepper1:

Reservations made. I certainly hope the Chinese Flu Don't F### this up!
All our vacation plans this year got shortened or canceled thanks to C-19.
We were in Paris with my son and his two kids leaving in the morning for a Ski Resort in the Alps when Trump locked everything down in March. Had to re-book and fly home the next day. I'm still pissed about that! Two other trips and the ROT Rally Cancelled!
