Tim and Lloyd are at it again!! Recently they announced that they would be putting a Lloyd'z Motorworks 126 cubic inch big bore in a 2020 Roadmaster Dark Horse to be sold by Indian Motorcycle Charlotte!

First, Josh took the stock 116 Roadmaster to Lloyd'z Dyno room to record the baseline hp and torque numbers. He then dropped the engine out for the Lloyd'z Motorworks 126 install.

Second, Josh finished up the Lloyd'z Motorworks 126 cubic inch big bore install and started Dyno-ing!

Well folks.. the RESULTS ARE IN! Watch Lloyd and Tim discuss the differencein Hp and torque between the stock 116 and the Lloyd'z Motorworks 126 cubic inch big bore!

This graphs compare the baseline stock 116 engine numbers to the numbers AFTER josh installed and tuned the Lloyd'z Motorworks 126 cubic inch big bore!!! As you can see, Horse Power jumped from 87 to 115 and the torque shot from 117 ft-lbs to over 146 ft-lbs!!!! This 2020 Roadmaster Dark Horse is a mean machine that will give you a smooth ride with exceptional power!

Awesome torque curve, no doubt about it, and they stretched the usable rpm range by 1000 rpm too.
That said, 126 cubic inches making 115 HP is .91 HP/ci.

Not putting anything or anyone down, this is simply the nature of the Indian Thunderstroke engine. It's not a HP engine.

A Victory 106 w/VM-1 cams will achieve that 115 HP, but nowhere near that torque.
A 126 cubic inch Victory engine would be in the 146 HP neighborhood. That's 1.16 HP/ci (what my 114.7 cubic incher makes).

Back to the Indian 126, with torque reaching 128 at 2000 rpm, traction might become hard to find and if it hooks keeping the front wheel out of the sky could become a challenge... but I'm sure the throttle by wire will take the edge off.

The video commented, stock exhaust and heads.

Strange that they would build and engine like this and not address the heads and exhaust?

That might have been the goal of their project, to see what would happen without headwork and pipes.

I chased Lloyd around for 7 days / 1500 miles at Sturgis last year ... he on his personal 126" chieftan, and me mostly on my ducati diavel.

It is a very competent ride !

Ok far enough...but if i was looking to "WOW" people...i would have gone the extra mile and addressed all engine systems and completely blown people away...

But I'm not building / sell bikes, so it's easy for me to say...

Sounds like they were trying to keep the thing in a normal person's budget.
    A success imo.

The all out stuff is cool as well, and they may do that at some point.
