"..and if you died in the crash you'd regret not having bought one of these."

I'm sold but unfortunately, the ones to jump on this are the guys stealing bikes or running drugs.

I'll have to rely on my headlight at this price.

"No pricing has been set yet but I’ve been told it will run anywhere from $2,399.00 to $2,899.00 MSRP. The word from Scotopia is that the target for pricing is under $1,500.00 after the first year or two of production."

If it can be improved on, as it will...

But not sure how it will work out as it relates to adapting to the display being primary input with parallax.

Interesting and would be valuable as a supplement when needed...

If it was thermal than I would think about it. Of course it would be around 15k more.

I guess I stopped reading earlier and missed this.

The guy can't really think riding a motorcycle at night without a headlight on is a good idea. Does he think that the people in the cars and going to have NVG as well? That comment is completely retarded.

I took his test of turning his headlight off as being one of an extreme situation. I didn't understand this was to be used without lights. I thought it was too be used in conjunction with your headlight.

If it is really designed to ride without your headlight I would classify it as the dumbest motorcycle accessory on the market. I'd buy ten Vibe Riders before this thing. Just because it lets you see things does not mean the things you see will see you.

I went to their site for clarification but it offers no insight on its intended use. If it is meant for no light situations they are wasting their time bringing it to the motorcycle market. No state allows a vehicle to drive at night without lights. They should be concentrating on aviation and military applications. I know having such a thing on my tactical helmet could have really helped me out over the years.

I went back and read the article again before I made my last post. It never mentioned riding with the visor and headlight on. Which like I said earlier I took as an extreme test and not its actual intended use. But that one sentence tells me that guy thinks the visor should be used alone without a headlight.

What do you think its intended use is? Headlight on or off?

This seems like a big issue too. How they say "its no problem" is beyond me.

Is it just a strange coincidence that literally every website and review of this product and the company, Scotopia Technologies, that I can find was published on April fools day?

HA! Hell man, it's no problem at all. Retinas are highly over-rated...

I would not be interested in this thing. Having that box hanging off my visor is ridiculous, and I aint payin 3,000 bucks. That is just stupid.
