What are the advantages and disadvantages of using an underdrive pulley?

I got both and can't see or feel any disadvantages.
on KP DownUnder I can fast cruise at the speed limit and a bit over ,
at the magic 3000rpm in 6th
And with a bored and cammed motor roll it on from there easily.
Gets away from the lights real smart!

KP is UD.....XC is factory gearing.

I have an 08 8 ball five speed. I don't have a tach, but enjoy the gearing where it is currently. I can cruise at 75-80 comfortably but have no idea what rpm I'm at. I considered getting the UDP but was worried the gearing would become to short for long hauls at these speeds.

Anyone have any experience with this? Are the gear ratios on my trans the same as the 6 speed without 6th gear!?

I don't know, you'd need to consult manuals or maybe look up specs on net?
    Personally if I had 5speed I wouldn't UD it.
