When I bought my 2004 vegas I got an extra set of fenders and tank. (originally came on the bike). I want to change them out but I have noticed a problem with the old tank. Right next to the vent tube there is a hole about the size of a nickel. From what I am told there is a plug that goes there and the hole is not used. I have looked on all the parts lists and breakdowns I can find and they all show the updated tank (having 2 vent lines). Does anyone have or know where I can get my hands on one of these plugs?

I have seen that parts breakdown. That is the new updated 2 vent line tank. In 2004 there was only 1 vent line on the original tanks. The tanks would atcually make a whining sound with the older tank installed because the vent went thru the gas fill area. Because of this they have the chance of clogging so they started making the new replacement tanks like the one pictured in the parts breakdown.
