Alrighty so after all this talk about jacks and Harbor Fright (spelling intentional), I finally got my check today for being an election judge (yes, my cavity is still stuffed with ballots ... "break in case of fire") and ended up taking a swing at the HF Motorcycle dolly. The only reason for wanting something like this is for winter storage as which I , like many of us, have to parallel park against a wall. For me that takes 5-10 minutes of wasted time and I may do that several times during winter so I can work on it. To simply slide it sideways would is worth the cash and at the moment it is.
The dolly wasn't tough to put together and all parts were there but it does seem feeble. The rating is 1250 Lbs. Me and my Pin aren't near a grand on a bad day. First time I tried putting the Pin on the dolly it slid all over.It was part user error and part the dolly needing weight in front to keep it in place. Bottom line is I learned how to get the bike on and off without issue. I can move it around the garage (SLOWLY and NOT over spacers as seen in the pic below) as needed so I think this will be worth the $80 after coupon spent. Being tight for space I also get how to take it apart for summer storage.
I neither recommend or dismiss the dolly. It seems like it will work for me. I've had decent luck with Harbor Fright products but the castor wheels do cause me some pause. I've seen reviews where users replace those with higher quality castors. I might do that next year. If you need this shipped to you and pay for shipping don't do it. Wait until you have a chance to get some place to pick it up. Not worth taking a chance on shipping to you and sending back if there is an issue. The Pin's wheelbase is a tight fit as you can see. I don't even have the stop rod on the rear wheel. Still, for me I think this will do the job.

This dolly is probably available under other names on Amazon too. Kind of like the scissor jacks I mentioned in another post. For $80 and used 2-3 times a year yeah it will work for what I need.
Merry Christmas everyone, stay safe, ride safe.
PS. I am pissed HF no longer gives out free LED lights (or anything else) with purchase. My grandkids keep taking what I have and I'll be out by the end of the year!
